At a discussion meeting titled “Income Tax, VAT, Customs, Traffic Congestion, and Law & Order Situation,” Mr. Ashraf Uddin, Vice President of the Bangladesh Footwear Manufacturers Association, spoke on the issue of reinstating VAT exemption on plastic and rubber slippers priced at 150 Taka or less.
